Wow, I just stepped outside for a moment and was filled with joy! Its beautiful out there today and apparently is only getting warmer tomorrow. I’m trying not to believe that this permanent, but either way, its nice to have a little break! The best thing about the weather is that its getting me excited for spring and for building the farm!!!
We have embarked on our mission to raise $30,000 by April 1st so we can build the farm. You can help us by going to our Kickstarter below!
While we are waiting for our non-profit status to be approved by the IRS we have been fiscally sponsored by Fair Food Philly! That means that they have taken us under their wing and we can act as a non-profit! That also means that anyone who wants to donate money for us to build our farm can right it off on their taxes!
You can send a tax-deductible donation in the form of a check made out to Fair Food Inc. and mail it to:
1818 Market St, Suite 2440, Philadelphia, PA 19103!
Again we are trying to raise $30,000, so any donation you can make would be an incredible help!
Also we are holding two fundraisers in March. Our first will be a Hoedown on Sunday March 20th from 7-10pm at our 10th and Walnut Street location. We will have some bluegrass bands, a raffle with amazing prizes, food for you to snack on and Awesome drink specials from two amazing local liquor sponsors; Penn 1681 Vodka and Yards Brewery!
It will cost 10 dollars to get in and there will be awesome drink specials!
You don’t want to miss it!
Our second is a Farm Dinner on Saturday March 26th and our Chestnut St location from 7-10. We will be participating in “Earth Hour” when businesses and individuals all over the world turn off their lights for one hour, 8:30-9:30. The dinner will be candlelit and prepared with local ingredients! More information is on its way!
